What if I am unsure what I believe?

You are welcome to listen, learn, and ask questions. You do not need to know the prayers or have the Bible figured out. Our pastors are happy to talk with you.

What should I know about Holy Communion?

We believe Jesus Christ truly gives us his body and blood in Holy Communion for the forgiveness of sins. If you are new to our congregation or unsure about receiving, speak with a pastor before the service. You are welcome to join us for worship while you learn more.

We believe in one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible is God’s authoritative Word, and Jesus Christ is our crucified and risen Savior. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Christ.

Our faith is expressed in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, the historic summaries of Christian belief. In Scripture, Baptism, and Holy Communion, God gives his promises to his people and sends us to love our neighbors.

Good Shepherd is part of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC) and Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC).
